SchoolShare

A few years ago, a Seattle parent named Donald Loseff had an idea. He believed in the value of walking to school, but like most parents, he wasn't comfortable with his kids walking to school alone.

If he were able to match up parents of school children within walking distance, taking into account all that modern families juggle, it would be easier to share responsibility for walking their kids to school. He developed a site online to accomplish this and made it available to the parents and children at his school.

That idea has become a reality on this website, taking Don's vision and expanding it, and making it available statewide to participating schools.
