Jen Cole is the Safe Routes to School Program Director at Feet First in Seattle.  Along with Dave Janis of the Bicycle Alliance, Jen coordinates the Center for Safe Routes to School in Washington State.

Growing up in a suburb of New York City, Jen negotiated her lollipop community on foot, bicycle and roller skates.   She remembers fondly the rattle of metal wheels on concrete, and sensation of stepping onto the smooth school corridors to make a break for her locker without being caught.
